Training sessions cost £45 each and consist of approximately 16 riders. We try our best to run training across the UK with previous sessions in Hampshire, Yorkshire, Leicestershire and Scotland.
The sessions are led by 2 instructors plus selection assessment from GB NR Sophie Hall and supporting team. You will be assessed riding several different horses provided by the equestrian centre, both on the flat and over jumps. The focus will be upon your feel for the horse, your position and how you get the best out of the horse you are riding. Riders will be split into small groups with 4 people riding at one time in each group to give everyone an equal opportunity to both ride and observe.
**To be considered riders must hold a British passport, be currently studying at university and be comfortable jumping 1m20. Riders who stand out at the training sessions will either be asked to attend a further training session or be added to the squad immediately. Unfortunately we can't provide feedback for every rider.**
The next training sessions will take place in Spring 2019. Please keep an eye on the Twitter, Facebook and Instagram pages for updates once new dates are confirmed. Previous training session venues have included: Sparsholt College, Hants Brooksby Melton College, Leics Tannoch Stables, Scotland Talland School of Equitation, Glos Bishop Burton College, Yorks
